Stacey graduated in 2010 from UMKC with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. She immediately started working in the Hickman Mills School district. After 3 years of teaching kindergarten in the Hickman Mills School District, Stacey transferred to the North Kansas City School District where she taught for another 9 years in grades Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and finally 4th grade. In 2014, Stacey graduated from Park University with her Masters in Reading and Literacy. While Stacey loved working with elementary students, she decided it was time to pursue a different career. After 12 years of teaching in the public schools, Stacey decided it was time to leave the classroom and return to school to earn her BCBA certification. Stacey always enjoyed working with the special needs students in her classroom and has a passion for helping young children to be successful. In May 2023, Stacey graduated from the University of Cincinnati with her BCBA certification and is currently working as a clinical supervisor to earn supervision hours before taking the BCBA exam.

Stacey grew up in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from North Kansas City Highschool and lived north of the river her entire life until moving to KS in 2023. Stacey has 1 son, a dog named Elsa, and a cat named Princess. In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with friends, completing puzzles, or reading a good book. Stacey is passionate about working with children with autism and being a part of Creating Connections where she can share her knowledge and expand on her experience. Her favorite thing is seeing the progress each child in ABA can make!.
