OUR SERVICES

Direct Intervention

CREATING CONNECTIONS THERAPY provides intervention through systematic and intensive teaching using evidence-based interventions including ABA, Verbal Behavior, Early Start Denver Model, Structured Play Groups, Naturalistic Instruction, and Discrete Trial Teaching.

Our teaching occurs in the least restrictive setting where the child will be successful. This teaching may range from 1:1 instruction to peer group or classroom settings.

Assessment & Behavior Plans

CREATING CONNECTIONS THERAPY (CCT) helps families identify disruptive and/or challenging behaviors in their child, while investigating the underlying causes.

Once identified, CCT develops a plan for reducing problem behaviors and for teaching positive replacement skills. We then provide the parent and/or caregiver training on effective strategies to respond to and effectively decrease unwanted behaviors.

Classroom Support & Professional Development

CREATING CONNECTIONS THERAPY’S in-classroom support is provided for both the child and the professionals in the classroom. We focus on generalization of mastered skills in areas of social, play, and communication.

CCT offers training for individual teachers, groups of professionals, and parents on a wide range of topics including positive behavior supports, autism interventions, language instruction, visual supports, play, and more.
